Congratulations on the successful convening of the 2020 firmware ISO / TC2 conference!

Between October 12 and 16, 2020, the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) Technical Committee 2 (TC2) held a virtual plenary session on firmware standards. The ISO/TC2 Firmware Secret Service was responsible for hosting the five-day event, which was attended by nearly 40 delegates from 12 countries, including China, Germany, the United States, France, Italy, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, and Spain. The conference focused on discussing various standards under ISO/TC2 and its subcommittees, such as basic standards for mechanical properties, surface coatings, hydrogen embrittlement test methods, gasket test methods, and standards for metric external screw threads and internal screw products. Additionally, China took the lead in the revision and drafting of four set screw standard items.
